Osteria by Bocconcino offers one of the most flexible settings for private dining rooms in Covent Garden. A dedicated private dining room for parties of up to twenty-six seated, a semi-private space for parties of up to forty, and full venue hire for up to eighty-six seated or one hundred and fifty standing. The room sits inside an Italian restaurant in the heart of London’s theatre district, with the warmth of a working kitchen, a wine list weighted to Italian regions, and an attentive team that runs private events as standard.
Whether the occasion is a corporate dinner, a wedding rehearsal, a milestone birthday, a christening lunch, a New Year’s Eve celebration or a launch event, the private hire of our dining rooms is built around hospitality rather than venue hire alone. The Italian restaurant private parties we host most often are birthdays for ten to twenty, corporate dinners for fifteen to twenty-six, and full venue hires for company parties and weddings.
The private dining room
The private dining room seats up to twenty-six guests, or thirty standing. Warm wood, soft lighting, Italian-inspired details, and the same kitchen as the main restaurant. The room takes its own service, with a dedicated team and bespoke menus tailored to the occasion. Sample menus run from three to five courses depending on the booking, with reception canape selections available for events that start with drinks.
The private dining room is not wheelchair accessible. Where accessibility is required, we offer the semi-private space on the ground floor instead.
Semi-private dining for groups of up to forty
For larger groups, the semi-private space accommodates forty seated or fifty standing, with the rest of the restaurant kept at arm’s length. The space suits bigger birthdays, corporate events, intimate weddings, and seated dining for parties between twenty and forty, using the same bespoke menu structure as the private dining room. Wheelchair access is available to the semi-private space.
Full venue hire
The full restaurant can be hired exclusively for private events, accommodating up to eighty-six seated or one hundred and fifty standing guests. Exclusive venue hire is often booked for weddings, corporate launches, end-of-year parties and milestone birthdays. A la carte, set menus and bespoke event menus are available alongside the full bar and wine list.

Every private dining booking includes the room, a dedicated team, bespoke event menus, the full Italian wine list, and flexibility for dietary requirements and allergies. Group menus typically run from three to five courses, with optional canape receptions, wine pairings, and celebration dessert presentations. Seating plans, place cards, and AV requirements can be arranged on request.
